okay, heres an explanation of the layout for the background of this wallpaper
before you tell me, "oh this would've looked so much better if you---"
and other comments as such...
This wallpaper takes place in a desert, and well there are no clouds because ive
never seen clouds in a desert before on those national geographic shows exept
for when its about to rain, so instead of having a blank sky, i put a design in
to make it look more interesting.
i tried to make the text somewhat invisible or at least not that noticeable, it
was hard trying to find a way for it to fit in there right.
the girl is sitting on a high and old desert ruin as you can see how the
background fades out as it does and the sand looks far away, and i tried to add
some effects to the sand to make it look more like sand thats been moved around
and not just a blank streak of sand-like color.
i dont know of the sunspot looks all the greatest, tell me a way of how i could
fix that and if i can i'll update it to make it look better for ya! and this
wallpaper's background was made 4 days before i found a character for it so as
to say, i DID NOT steal the idea from anyone else here at minitokyo!!

I love where you positioned her in the picture. She has this almost sad longing to her, as if she was playing songs filled with memories of times past, songs telling tales of people and places she wished could be again but knows will never return, tales of someone she misses. The gentle wind that seems to be blowing her hair is a nice touch touch too as is the distant sea on the horizon. Those along with the image in the clouds of two birds that seem to be kissing helps to add to the imagery I see of her playing songs of love and loneliness. Excellent wall, a favorite for sure.

the simplicity of your wall is very lovely, and you have a great concept here by using a desert setting. but perhaps in keeping with the "realism" of a desert environment, maybe the effects in the sky are unnecessary even though you were trying to make it more interesting? overall your wall is quite nice and captures a feeling of loneliness.
