Stumbled into the Yoshitaka Amano section after a friend of mine pointed out one of his artbooks while we were at Japantown & I must say 0_0 . So I went and made a wall with one of his images ::not that they need tweaking:: I saw this scan >> [Contemplation] and thought it looked like she was...blossoming. Ergo I gave her wings from another Amano scan ::idea inspired by Amano's many fairy images:: Added a couple of charcoal swirl brushes in her hair and some purple/textured overlays for a more fairytale look. There are probably a thousand things I should tweak...but am too lazy ^_^' .

Comments & suggestions welcome.

I like the texture overlays. Gives it the older painting look. I find that rather enchanting with this wall. Very nicely down.

    thanks for sharing.

Nice texture you gave it to the wallpaper~ You did an awesome job adding the wings cuz they look like they were already their with the scan~! It's really nice overall, like an old deteriorating paint though for it being a wallpaper you should have given a lil more space for the icons and stuffies~

Either way awesome job~! Love it all ^.~

Nice indeed. I've recently fallen in love with Amano's scans, and I've definitely thought, ooh that picture would make a great wall, but what the heck would you adjust in order to make it a wall and not just a ripped scan? But, amazing job with this one, the purple and swirls look great. I don't think you can tweak that much other major stuff because I love how you managed to retain the original essence in Amano's art. Nice nice! ^.^

Wow.. That's all I can say.. This is an amazingly gorgeous wall! *_*.. You did an awesome job
making it look like an aged portrait, but still beautiful. Like MrsBloomie said, it looks like the
wings were already in the scan. The purple texture really worked with the whole concept of the
    scan. I love it!*Faves

*agrees with the comment about old-paiting* it looks really soft too... and the colours (the purple) fits perfectly ^^...

really beautiful. there are a few walls from this scan and this has to be my favourite of them. i really like how you added the wings and the pastel feel of the colours.
