a new wallpaper from me. think of the trademark rikku wallpaper from ffx and age it about 100 years XD and thats the idea for this wall.
original scan: http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/31262/ well actually i couldnt find the real scan on mt, seems to have been deleted, but the original was similar to this picture and much better quality
i had some fun doing the wreckage holes in the ceiling cause it was just really random stuff XD
i desat the whole image cause i didnt want the place to look new. but then i had to also extract rikku to give the dust
an added dimension and a different saturation.
i also redid the the light rays from above to give the look of the sun coming in from the roof.
the wall is semi-grunge and i added the giant crosshair over the whole wall for a more interesting effect.

basically i couldnt think of any ideas for the last wall in the cities trilogy so i made this wall as a some wallers block thing. but i hope to upload the last wall in the trilogy next week....and its gona be BLEACH!!! XD

the bg is really techy like, all that metal @_@
buti think there is too many varing tones of gray
it makes it boring after a while, try adding browns and/or greens
or a greenish~blue colour would be close enough
for a more earthy feeling, it is metal and earth, no??

The full version is definitely better than the thumbnail, those who just look at the thumbnail are missing out ^^ Great & creative concept of aging the buiding. The torn edged holes in the ceiling is neat and the exposed elements such as the wiring look quite realistic. Although the edges are 'aged' well, the interior of the building still looks realitively untouched. The arched support beams and the rafters behind them still look perfectly intact and seem uneffected by the timeshift. Also, her left shoulder seems a little polygon-ish after the extraction. The smog and mist work well with the theme and gives the building more of an old, decaying feel. I particularly like the birds, not only does is show that those are tears in the roof but also is reminisient of how predator birds are found flying over & around dead/dying prey - in this case the building. Also like that "crosshair" a lot. Overall, awesome work & a great wallpaper, can't wait for the final installment of your trilogy ^^

I really like the pallette choice. Those colors set the feel of a semi-destroyed landscape. I do question why she is semi-transparent in spots. Overall it is a very well done and interesting paper. Thanks for sharing.
