Looks interesting and the poster works out nicely. I'm not usually a fan of dark stuff, but this is different.
Looks kinda grungy/techy on the back and the lighting works nicely.

This is a poster entry to the New Wave group contest.
This is one of the most anticipated movies i want to see from the creator of Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel... Joss Whedon presents the dare daching, Comedicly witty, gunslinging blast from the future show of a couple of Space pirate smugglers who accidentally was shipping cargo which later was found out that it was wanted by the Alliance military. Secret weapons? A hefty crew on an old ship called a firefly.
Actually this was a running series to be exact but the ratings for the show never made it up to another series standards so they made a movie, Originally name "Firefly" the ship was really called "Serenity" hence the title of the movie.
So all together i wanted to make it as a simple movie poster to the upcoming movie, a simple task but it was hard thingking if i should put a bloody star studded dimension all around the ship but this is ok i guess.... 37 layers and 4 hours of work.

This a very new look. Never actually seen anyone make a movie poster on MT before (or at least I wasn't paying any attention ^_^' ). It's very different and whole poster look is a creative idea. Whishing you luck on that contest, OracleAngel. Well, I am sure you don't need it because this is a pretty cool concept. Overall, great job. :)

Very cool stuff, looks like one of those scifi movies you'd see on the scifi channel. The whole dark grunge scheme and grungy text give it that "alone out in the middle of space" kinda feel. You've got a great shot at winning the contest with this one bud!

i dunno what's going on .. but i just know that i wubbbb this poster XD
i like how it's suppose to be a movie/tv poster and how the grunge blend in with the image of that ship so realistically.
the imae portrayed here ish dark .. as if that ship ish lost somewhere in space T_____T
anyway .. it looks great and good luck for the contest :D

Awesome poster! XD I'm so jealous... I wanted to participate in that contest. t___t *sigh* Oh well. Such a neat grunge... nice little touches of tech here and there. Definitely blends well with the scan.
