wowie realy pretty wallpaper! the background is beautiful and i love the colors.

the wallpaper is pretty good but there are some problems that you can fix.
i think the scan looks a bit on the blurry side, either because of the oversharpened colors or cause the scan was already LQ. also extraction could use some improvement.
the sky is done pretty well but i dont understand why the clouds are so blobby looking. try to use an eraser on with a lower pressure.
the water just looks plain weird cause the perspective is way off and the waves are too oval and big. i feel like the water is on a different axis from the rest of the bg. maybe distort it a bit so it is on a sharper plane.

overall, it could be better with more improvements

This is a great wallpaper. I have no problem with the background because in my eyes you have capture that dreamly nature like atmosphere. Though, it's like you have mention, you had troubles with extracting the scan. I see your efforts that you try to use the brush tool to recolor the characters hair. I believe your effort was good and so are your intentions. I love the wallpaper as much as Kitten-sama. Love the smoothness of the water, rock's shadowing/texture, and the stary/cloudy sky looks awesome. Another outstanding job Kawaii-Chicken-sama!! I'll be looking forward to your next wallie.
