Having heard about the doujin contest the MT Samurai Deeper Kyo group is holding, my muse (aka, my little sister),
encouraged me to get over my dislike of drawing Kyo and draw a doujin of him in school uniform.
By encourage, I mean she held a rolled up magazine over my head and threatened to thwack me with it. (>.O)
And so, this is the result. Once I figured out that Kyo in modern-day high school would have something of the attitude
of James Dean in "Rebel Without a Cause," the rest was easy. (*~.^*)
I still hate drawing Kyo's hair though. AAuuuuurrrrghh!
P.S. - Smoking is bad for you and playing hooky is wrong. This has been a public service announcement from sylvacoer-onee-san (*~.^*)

Nice job on the wall, though the signs look really graphic-y, from a computer. Character looks good, real bad ass.

Heheh~ I like bad guys. It's true. His eyes create a nice contrast in comparison with his dark outfit. One lil thing. You should add a lil smoke to the cigarette to make it look like his smoking. But if he's not, then never mind. Also, I like th brick wall as well but they don't line up with each other. Other than that, the pose is really awesome and awesone cging. Good stuff~

well... i'm finally taking a minute to comment on this one ^_^'
really cool looking Kyo o_O *drools* the cigarette goes so well with him XD and i don't see what you find so bad about his hair... (not so hard to draw if you ask me... the part i hate drawing the most on Kyo is his eyes >.<) btw, they look more like a dragon's eyes than like a demon's XD coz' of the yellow ring... but they'd look cool anyways
the only thing i don't like is the bg... now, can,t deny the fact that it suits the scene perfectly, but the brick wall, isn't right... on either side of the black line that separates one side from the other, the bricks aren't adjusted, and it gets a little on my nerves ^_^' (don't know if you get what i mean >.<)
oh well, Kyo looks very cool at least, so i'll just concentrate to look at him rather than at the wall behind him ^^ good job!
