the newest creation from me. and its a naruto wall

read this even if you don't read anything else: before making a wall, always check if there are any copyright restrictions on the scan X[ yes it might seem quite obvious but its easy to just take anything posted on MT and ASSUME that the poster checked first.
but i had the bad luck to use a scan that taken from a site where the poster did not read the copyright and didnt even source the damn thing. it was a naruto scan for my only other naruto wall. my previously best wall.
it is now gone because another member pointed out that the original site and told me about the artist's request

this wall is a tribute to the deleted wall in the graveyard of copyright x_x

basically, i vectored all the buildings out of the orginal scan and add extentions and whatnot. as taken from previous critisms, the sunlight is reflected in the buildings so they don't look like little lame shapes.

the sunset scene was also inspired by the original but the one here is made by me, going through about 16 layers to get the transitional sky colors and clouds and sun.

ASIAN FRONTIER: at the edge of a crowded chinese city, where religion clashes with progress. that is the next frontier!!!!!! >.<

  4. asianspirit Jul 13, 2005

    wow. copyright restrictions... who knew?

anyway, this is a nice wall. the scans are really clean. and the background doesn't look like little shapes. XD and the sunset is wonderful. the colors gives a over all warm feeling. great job!

  5. Aa-chan Jul 13, 2005

Very nice and simple, just the way I like it. The background has just enough detail without going over the top and the two characters look nice.

    1280x1024 please! XD

  6. Nona Jul 13, 2005

Interesting silouette work. The many curves and shapes of the background buildings, in a way, bring out the curves within the characters themselves. The mighty and large sun ... yes it is large and mighty XD ... looks good in contrast to the smaller details of the wall. Having a large "object" in a wall placed near smaller "objects" help to create a sort of asymetrical balance and add to the simplicity of your wall.

The only thing that seems a bit out of place is the coloring of the characters, or rather the lighting of the characters. They seem bright in contrast to the darkness around them. Perhaps, "oranging" them up a bit more to match the sunset would help. I've always thought of eastern sunsets to be very beautiful and I feel that you have pulled off the feeling of the sunset very well.

Great sunset and silouttes,is kinda simple, but u have some beautiful details on it,like the coloring on the buildings in the back, the scan looks almost like a vector, and the font that u fits with the scene(for some reason i can relate those buildings with something u can find in Thailand)i agree with Tantaga about the "oranging" (nice new word xD) but, anyway,is just a little detail, everything is so nice in this wall ^^

  11. MagicianFairy Jul 13, 2005

i only like the bg and the colors of the bg, the anime not so much, well...dont pay me attention, ejeej^^"

    nice work as always^^

  12. slivermoon Jul 13, 2005

too bad the other one god deleted, i liked it >.<
this looks neat, reminds me of Beijing
the bg looks good but it seems a bit plain at the bottom
other than that it looks fine to me

  13. sakoikai Jul 14, 2005

It looks great! You did a good job on the vectored background, the sun looks nice, and I like the little bit of clouds (I think that's what they are) you added. By the way, I'm sorry that your previous wallpaper got deleted =(

  14. rocknroll-isgo Jul 14, 2005

Ah yes, the underlying horrors of copyright. x_x

Anyway, very impressive expansion of the scan. The whole wall looks downright cool. (mmm... vectors...) No critiques. ^^ Faving!

  15. IllusionistAria Jul 14, 2005

    Sigh, copyrights. -_-'
i love your new wall, thogh. It's ridiculously good quality and all that vectoring looks fantastic! The background and everything... *Swoons* Basically, it's gorgeous. XD You always seem to be able to churn out fantastic stuff! +fav

  16. anji Jul 14, 2005

Simple and nice I like it.
I especially like de vector of the buildings. Really nice and detailed.
A little something that bother me ^_^'
It's the border of the building between the two caracters, there's some part of black and it contrast a lot with the other buildings behind. I don't know if that's what you wanted.
Anyway, also like the orange theme overall.
Always great looking wall, keep it up! :)

Ive always wondered if anyone would wall this certain image but i guess you did it pretty nicely...Love the vectored building s and simplicity of it. Awesome job as always mate! :)

  18. Kiako Jul 14, 2005

nice wallpaper, the background looks good, i like the colors of the sky and the building in the front looks good too. and the shading on the charas fits.

  19. Yina Jul 14, 2005

great work on the bg!! I especially like the vestor of the temple.. the sky is a bit empty.. you could add some clouds.. but nonetheless the bg fits perfectly to the scan.. overall great wprk, +fav ^^

  20. Odysseus Jul 14, 2005

I'm usually not a fav of Naruto walls, but this one is great! Very simple but quite effective. Like your sunset and the silhouettes of the buildings is a nice touch. Could use a very small cloud or two in the upper left corner or so so it doesn't look too plain, but that's just me. It's still a great wall. Excellent work!

  21. mariska Jul 14, 2005

a really great wallpaper! I love the bg, and iruka and kakashi look just great! Really nicely sharp scan's!
    Really a great work!

  22. narutofan92 Jul 15, 2005

    Yo Kai,
Another awesome wall to substitute your other naruto wall (may it rest in peace)
I think this one is awesome, it's a bit simpler then your others but still great.
I like the way the vector came out in the bg and the extraction on the characters is awesome.
part of the building between them strikes me as a bit odd though but other then that it is great and soon to be my new desktop. -lol-

  23. AyuTateishi Jul 15, 2005

Cool wallpaper... I like Iruka and Kakashi!!! Great work!!! Keep it up... I hope you make more Naruto wallpapers...

  24. hongrboi Jul 15, 2005

Yet another nice wall. Has a very asian feel to it. It is a weird pic of Kakashi(the guy with white hair) though... Normally he wouldn't show his left eye unless its during a serious battle. Great wall nonethless
