I know this scan of Akira has been used on a couple of other walls, but please don't think I'm being unoriginal! It's just that there are so few decent-sized scans of akira out there that are wall-paper worthy. (Injustice! Blah! on the lack of Akira scans, Blah!) Grrrrrr....!

Hoo, okay, now that that's out of my system... "Muhyo Getten" is the name of Akira's favorite attack, which he uses to cover everything in his maai with ice. (I forget what the names means though... (^_^')) Ergo, this wall shows the "result" of Akira's mad skillz after he's unleashed them on an unsuspecting bamboo forest. But isn't it so pretty and sparkly?

I had a lot of "fun" cging the forest. (>.O) I had to visit about ten websites with pictures of bamboo to make the brushes, but the hard part was getting the blending and shading right. And then I had to make it all frosty and icy, which took a lot of fiddling around with filters. I hope the end result is worthy!

Even if it isn't I still like it just 'cuz it's akira. (*~.^*) syvlacoer is a happy akira fangirl once again!

definitely a cool scan from Akira... can see why you walled it, and the frozen bamboo forest looks pretty cool too, the leaves floating everywhere are nice too, but there's a single leaf that looks a little weird at the bottom of the wall... like it doesn't belong in that wall, have no idea if you meant it that way... anyways, good job ^^
