Pretty cool. I've never read or watched Cowboy Bebop, so I can't say anything about characterisation, but I love the perspective and use of light. It really pulls you into that alley way ^.^

Wow, that's some amazing artwork! The colors are fitting very well and I love the highlights of the butterflies.
Like you said, you have to love the atmosphere, and it really brings the "Cowboy Bebop feeling" back.
