It's awesome. The colours are not summerish but meh, I love them. The texture is a nice touch, too.

Wow, amazing work with a really well drawn character and with a cool landscape. You are right, it creates those feelings you mentioned though the character is smiling. I really like the painted look. Are those white points snow? It is a bit unusual for me to see snow in September xD

Wow O_O I always enjoy your walls, 'cause they're such beautiful works of art... this one especially, I love the texture of the brushwork on the background... fabulous doujinshi...
