I saw the image and melted. Literally. *random children splash in Ryk-puddle* Being the sickly sweet HaruKan fan I am, I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to use the scan for a wallpaper. (Plus I'm working on a Kan-chan shrine, so the pre-made media doesn't hurt.) Due to the image's original size, I spent a good twenty minutes cutting it out in PS, and then hit a design wall so hard it left me dazed. More or less, I spent two days looking at the cutout and felt useless. *museless*
Finally, on the third day, I discovered my muse after looking at Perl script for two hours. (You can find anything after that. o.x) With the aid of several screencaps from the Tactics anime (taken by yours truly), one or two brushes from V-Brush, and listening to the Loveless soundtrack on blast, I was able to design this in a short span of twenty-five minutes. (Yeah I know that's not short, but it's Sunday and it's midnight and it's raining and I have nothing to do. >.>)
The wallpaper's quality is quite good, but the design isn't one of my better works. Truthfully, I really struggle with wallpapers. I'm a webdesigner at heart, and only know how to make layouts and random button-avatar-like things. So bear with my pitiful walls, and don't be too harsh comment wise. ^^;; I have nothing against constructive criticism though, as long as it's not website related. Insult my sites and die. ^~
