Okay okay *hides* - I know I promised the next CG would be of a girl. And I *was* going to do that but then I had to finish this pic first. XD I started on it waaaaaay back in February. This is the CG version of http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/81427/.

I named it Parallel Vision cuz this wasn't how I envisioned the pic would turn out in the end. I was going for a beach scene, but I did a crappy job with the bg and the blue sky didn't match. So...I ended up altering some of the colors slightly and now it looks like a scene from hell. Great... Oh, don't ask about the watermelon patterns on the shirt. I think I was tired and feeling a little sadistic.

Comments & Critiques are always appreciated! I know everyone is busy nowadays and I've been pretty bad about getting back to everyone, too. If it takes me foreva, please know that I am very thankful of everyone's support :)

I recognized your old sketch instantly, although this looks a lot different.
But wow, this comfirms with the last one that your CGing improved a lot... and changed style a bit. It's so clean it comes a bit closer to the classic anime cell-shading, in a professional way.
First the lineart is so crisp and clean, did you redraw them entirely with the tablet ? used the pen-tool or something ? I'm completely left behind XD . And this clean coloring, some parts almost look like gradients, for a really smooth result, both on hair and skin (the crazy shirt is a bit different, to desaturated maybe). I remember I loved how the character was staring at me on the original sketch, and on the CG those shining eyes look even better. The glasses look good too (though there seem to be a part missing. I'm not sure about the wings, but I love the halo and the background. My only complaint on that part is that the lighting on the character could be worked on to blend it in more, but it could also be that you weren't looking for that. Still a very breath-taking artwork which confirms it, I love how you draw men. And it's funny to know a bit how the drawing ended up that way, it happens to me all the time that the finished piece is something completely unexpected :) . That's another funny thing about drawing XD .
