I really wanted to try out grunge and fantasy since I don't think I've done either. The reason it's entitled "Elemental Infection" is because you'll see some representations for different elements like wood, water, air, ice and such, and they seem to be getting infected by some sort of virus, which is represented through the grunge work. The girl is also getting infected. I'm sorry if I the wallpaper doesn't fit the girl at all. I haven't watched Shingetsutan Tsukihime yet, and I just wanted a very high quality scan.
Please excuse my grunge work for now, as this is my first try at it. I really like how I made the texts though. :D This
just includes lots of brush work using PS default brushes and some brushes from DeviantArt, different blending modes,
and a couple of stock photos from www.sxc.hu.

When I first saw the character I thought it looked like Len from Tsukihime (or the melty blood game), and upon a little further investigation - it is! Anyway a very nice wallpaper with an absolutely great background! Great job!

The color combinations and blending are superb. I have only two, very minor quibbles:
1. The light-rays are very wide and vertically oriented (i'd've preferred subtler, more slanting rays, considering the delicacy of the remaining background elements, like for example, the almost etherial feathers.
2. The black border running around the top part of the character-art was left a bit too thick, imo. It makes the char. seem more "cut-out"than it should. (I realise that there's always the question of compromising the original artist's vision, & accept that I may well be off-base on this one.)
In any case, you hardly need me to say that it's excellent work; but it is, and I have. +Fav.
