I found a lot wrong with this piece when I went back to take a look at it. I remade it and it was really fun looking at all the mistakes I'd made weeks ago. Time really allows you to come back and see your mistakes full force!
Also, now you can have this wallpaper at a lovely 1600 x 1200 size!
I actually found another scan of the girl to replace this one with. The one I
had used was rather old and decrepid with awful extraction. I could see white!
*le gasp*
Not to mention the scanner had oversharpened the image to compensate for lack of
quality. I found the new one at AnimePaper under their Carnelian section. I
retraced a lot of the brush trails and added a cool insignia to the text. I also
used some new blending techniques. Oh and I recolored the scan too! I think the
image works a lot more nicely now.

the scan is too sharp.. cuz the bg is kinda blurry.. nya.. but apart from that, you did an amazing work on th effects.. they all look perfect to me.. and the bg fits perfectly to the scan..

only thing i can see thats off is she has a
faded white glow or something around her
and between parts of her hair or on the
bottom right of her, is that from extracting?
or an added effect? ^^;
anyways just it makes the bg look weird at places
but overall its a really nice eye candy ^^
hey its great work here sunira ^^ i like the whole bunch of effects put together into a collage looking thing. the tree type thing in the back works pretty good too
i like the wheel type thing but the calligraphic font just doesnt work. i
weird thing is that i cant think of a suggestion to a replacement font 
cause
usually i can come out with one. probably the wall might look better with no
font at all. i find now that text becomes overused when sometimes the wall with
look less cluttered and the veiwer more able to focus on the brushing or the
scan or the more visual effects.
the scans cleaned up pretty good too. the recoloring looks great.
only thing is the text looks...strange
other than that, i like this work ^^ +fav
