it looks simple..but making it is not...x__x lol
well..first I vectored this sakura image that I get on MT.. (sorry >.< forgot who scanned this.. T^T) which is so hard to vector those coin-things on her dress.. >.> heheh
I got sick of using the pen tool n polygonal lasso to vector..so I just drew free hand 4 the flowers below...(including her feet XD)
but anyways..plz comment >.< I need em right now.. TTATT..(got a huge artst/designing/waller's block)

this wall is dedicated to my lovely friends, heavens-Dragon,Zefie, and LucyXlostangelwings ^__^

There are some places in Sakuras cloak which need to be smoother but all in all the vector is beautiful work you did Rythem, the simplciity and flowers youve drawn, especially the feet is great! Love th aura in this wall and a must fave! XD Nice job Rythem!

Quite beautiful wall [a bit too pink for me though ^_^' ]

The vectors are nicely done but, as OracleAngel mentioned, it would be a bit better if they were a little smoother ^^

Rythem!!! *hugs super tight* Thank you! You are a dear friend to me!! ^__^
Awwww, Rythem-chan...I love this wall! This is one of my favorite Sakura images and you made it looks so nice by vectoring it!
It must have been so hard to vector that...so much details in it! But...you have succeeded in doing a super fantastic job!! It looks great. ^^
The background is lovely! Just a right amount of simplicity with nicely blending colors!! It's a gorgeous background, including the flowers at her feet. I would have never know you did it free hand! ^_^'
Everything fits together magnificently! It's really beautiful! Thank you Rythem-chan!! :D

I have no idea how vectoring things is.... but about what I heard it must be troublesome!
    You're so talented!!!! XD

  14. meteorcloud Jul 01, 2005

waah..you've chosen a difficult scan to vector......X_x......you did a good job on that =d~!! hmz...
still.....it's kinda pity that the bg is kinda plain......if you've added more things this would be great ^___^~! hehe but I appreciate your hard working =d~!!!! keep the works rythem ^___^~!

  17. Ceridwen Jul 01, 2005

Very beautiful vectorization job ! The background is pretty simple but nice and fits well with your illustration ^^ (+fav)

  18. kai81220 Jul 01, 2005

OMFG that pic of sakura!! man everyone doing walls on similar ideas before i even started T_T

i have to say the vector mustve taken a long time cause that scan is not an easy one ^_^' but i think you did an awesome job on it. small crit: maybe the outlines should be a bit mor smooth, a bit too angular at some points.
i really like how the sky is done the color works great with the vector and the flowers.
the flowers however should be softer looking, maybe minus the outlines and maybe a more individualistic texture ie, each flower has its own shadow and light areas.
everything else is great here ^^

    hope my comment helps.
this is great work rythem +fav

  19. flyindreams Jul 01, 2005

Oooh... lovely job vectoring. You're right about it looking simple, but in full view I can see that you did an awesome job brightening the colors of the original scan. The warmth of the colors is lovely. Yes, the background is somewhat conventional, but the vectoring on the scan is just so well done that the simple background complements the vectoring... nicely done!

  20. Rella Jul 01, 2005

Ooh, I really like the vector wallpaper! It looks very nice, the scan too. Great work on the background as well. ^^

  21. heavens-Dragon Jul 01, 2005

Awww! For me too? You're so sweet, rythem-chan! *big hugs*
Wowies, this is amazing! This is such a hard scan to vector but you pulled it off really well! It looks fantastic! And you even free hand draw her feet and flower! Awesome work! The colours are great and Sakura looks so cute! The background is really pretty with the soft colours. Great work!

  22. Athrun Jul 01, 2005

Damn, that looks hard to vector... well done. The looks cool, but the real detail of that amazes me most is the pink flowers at the bottem. You drew them? I'm impressed.

  23. slivermoon Jul 01, 2005

    the vectoring looks very nice
and the bg matches well w/ the character
the whole thing looks fine to me, great work! ^-^
