Love the portrait-like quality you brought out of the scan: she looks beautiful and regal and dark and you wonder what her story is. I sort of have a problem with the border...but I guess it works in its way. ^_^'

This is gorgeous. I'm really surprised that only 'Sake commented on it. I actually really like the borders... it reminds me of a museum postcard because the texture that you brought out in the scan... and also because of her gorgeous headpiece and that lovely red background and purple throne (?) that you added. I like how I've never seen this scan before. And really stunning work with the font. I think the saturation/brightness is a little too high in some places... but this is simply beautiful. Impressive work from a scan that gave off a completely different vibe then what you brought out in this wall. Hope to see more walls like this from you.
