I *think* this is the right category. To be honest, I just wanted to do this one too, once I got an idea for it. I really like how I got the beam of light to look proper, considering the background image and all.

Really nice abstract BG Teryon, I really like your water and mountains. Also the beam of light does suit the theme.

Oh~~!! Teryon... i'm sure you are the Pro waller now!!! so i must be required more demands in your wallie...
    1. sometimes, grunge brushes not really practical to certain scenic wallie...
    2. Starfield absolutely too obvious... certain level of blurry required.
    3. Extraction part.... bottom of the scan, sometimes you need not reamin the whole part of the scan... if partially not blended well, you can think about erase it . and try bigger res... once i applied it to my desktop...(1600x1200) the quality of scan sure need some rework to improve it...

Well i know you have improve a lot but if you find my comment hurts your feelings, i must apologise now... "i'm sorry" but these are all my frank talk...

    Oh this is lovely :d
i had a surprise when I saw you use the second scan, because I thought that you were so going to pick this one ^_^
So which one are you entering? o_O
Lol, but anyway, wall analysis-- yeah... there is a red part next to the belt on the guy's sword... doesn't bother me too much, but it's bit weird there...
And I disagree with grunge going against scenics. Who said grunge can't mix with scenics? XD The effect is interesting~~~ (^_^)b

This wallpaper is awesome~ Done so much better than the other entry... Your other entry looks like a mess really, there wasn't much cohesion. But this wall is wonderful XD It has a cohesive AND abstract background and the light is wonderfull.

::chuckles:: Me, a Pro..now there`s somethin I never expected. And this just goes to show that sometimes its all down to a person`s preferences. Ramchong`s comments, the first one, being the example.

Now as far as his other two...wellll, if I didnt get actual critiscism I wouldnt have gotten this far. Go look at my Doujinshi wall and the comments *there*...without that stuff how would I know what to tweak and learn more about?

i kinda like this scene better compared to the other one. the scene which you created ish very pwettie and tranquil. the grunge part, maybe could be the darker side to this pwettie scene. though i don't reallie like the brush which you chose, try a smaller scale and softer one. maybe lighten it a lil to match the bg cause it's a lil distracting especially the lower part of the wall.

the color choice ish good. from the sky, water and ground :) good job on that part. i like how you express this scan. with the light shining onto them. but maybe you could make them glow a lil more. just my lil suggestion, maybe it wouldn't be nice ^_^'
