Those damn light energy effects take forever when you have to make them at large
sizes 
. With that said, please view in FULL-VIEW. For the most part, I am happy
with the way this wall turned out, while not technically perfect, I am happy
with the portrayal of my original concept.
The scene is supposed to be in a darkened tower far in the sky, where an elf is being held captive. She is allowed free roam of the tower, but she obviously has been forbidden to leave. Despite this, she secretly plans her escape by practicing the weaving of spells ... so she may soon break herself free. In the current scene, she is summoning her little helper fairy to go and help her with this task by summoning her friends.
The sun is beggining to lower, casting the plant covered tower in darkness.
Small laterns light up the walkway of the corridor, but the only real light is
that of the light emitted from the fading sunlight and sky ... and the light
being generated by her as she playfully runs through the halls casting spells.
In a sense, she is the only light in this world of darkness. She smiles happily,
for she knows that she will soon be out of this tower and back in her elven
forest ... after her and her friends beat up the baddies of course 
.

very pretty. i love the colors and the shadowing is very good. the concept though its feminine relates more to masculine nature that is why i consider it unique as that is what i see in your wall.. people think i see things a tad bit different..lol. anyway, there ya go and a fave for me!!

This wallie is incredibly impressive and the concept you made to the scans and nice merge with bg!! but i think some defects of extraction can be found on the scan's head wings... other then that juz look perfect to me!! thanks for sharing!!

That's great! I love this scan. The bg fits very well to the scan. The lush green and yellow against a black silhouette gives a grand effect.
The
vines hanging down is an awesome touch to the fantasy-ish style of the
wallpaper. Might I ask how you made them?
