the name results from...well you can see it ^^
this is version 2 (as promised earlier) it is also a little smaller than v1 (compression wise)
i tried to fix some extraction errors (i did not see them when i was at it since i dont use 1600x1200 myself :P)
i hope i got the kanji right and there are no more errors in it now ...also
i hope i did not make it worse than it was before with some minor changes i also made^^

i still haven't counted the layers but after i cleaned the psd it werent that many...probably 24 or so...

please keep on writing comments and now this sentence is...finished! :P

Damn ... this one deserves more then a "omg XD XD cool"

Extraction could use some work especially near the gun and her boots, I would use the burntool to correct it since it are highlights. Think you could fix the whole outline.?

There is a little noise in the wallpaper .. maybe a small gauss could make it look better.
maybe sig in the lower right corner ... question of taste I suppose ...

It's well balanced so I wouldn't touch the concept of it ..

    Great job ...

Wow! This is such a nice wallie! The extraction seems pretty well done too! XD But i think the circle thingy is a little rigid at the edge. Keep up the good work! +fav

Well your extraction is not too bad, except for some white halo around her legs. You've blended a few elements together pretty good - the whole jagged crystalline abstract with the square mosaic effect. But I don't like the large white patchy areas - maybe you should have just left them bright but not entirely plain white. It contrasts too much with the quite dark busy parts of the background. You could have introduced brightness around Motoko by using things like playing with colour dodging and using radial or zoomed blurs to give a backlit effect to her. I would also recommend not outlining tech geometry in black, as it makes it stand out too much. Adding a soft white glow that is more opaque than the shapes themselves would be a smoother way of highlighting them. Hope this helps, this wall shows promise for something much cooler :P

I think opposite with morphee, the BG doesn't match really well with motoko (judging by the download version) , but the thumbnail really attracted me, thumb looks really good.

  7. LavaBug Jun 28, 2005

lol and if you set your wallpaper to "tile" you can have the thumbnail all over^^

thanks for being honest though i appreciate that
