I always come back to walling Kino, it seems -- I have at least 3 other Kino wallpaper concepts sketched out for later. I had the image of Kino extracted and cleaned from the original poster scan for several months. Originally I wanted to redraw the original background with the jacket, due to its significance in the series, but I never got around to finishing it. I came back to it and instead decided to just do a simple textured wallpaper. I found the map image off of ImageAfter and the compass from StockExchange. Numerous layers and blending modes later, and the addition of some textures, and we have a somewhat darker wall than is my usual wont for this series (and no canvas either!) The title came at random because I wanted something that went with the map/direction theme, and Kino always seems to be going into uncharted territory...

Why: For something entirely different, try this slick, stylish, vector-type Naruto wallpaper. With only 3 colors (black, grey-white and blue) and a hip style (diagonal, with a nice separation of the two sides/yin-yang of the character,) this is a wonderful wallpaper that deserves way more notice.

    Ahh, great job keeping to the theme of travelling. The transparent map and compass layers works well. I really like the "old" feeling when looking at the combination of the orange and and brown.

    Wow! Tama you did a good job on this. He looks like some relic hunter to me. BG is very unique. Overall I can say this is a 8 out of 10. Keep it up! ^_^

    Moving along, I'm loving the map/compass theme. It really fits with Kino. Great blending of the character and textures as well.

    the blending of the scan with your background is quite seamless, and i luv the texture and overall brownish hue of your wall as it adds a relic-type feel to your wall. the concept with the map and compass is quite creative and ties all the elements of your wall together very nicely.

    well, i seem to say the same thing every time.. but the texture's so good and i luv your concepts (no matter how many kino or FMA walls you make xD)

    Great job, the compass in the background fits with Kino no Tabi perfectly! I also love your use of color and texture in this one, great ^_^
