I hate the title I picked for this. >_< Oh well, so yes it has been a looong time since I submitted a wall hasn't it? Well personally I feel this is one of my better walls so hopefully this will make up for my lack of submitting. :D
This wall features 5 of the main characters from the anime (and video game) Meine Liebe. Sadly there are not many walls of this series so I'm hoping the fans will like this one. :D Many many thanks to Cheza1982 for submitting this scan: Meine Liebe by Cheza1982 I have been dying to make a Meine Libe wall since I love the series, but this was the first scan I could tollerate using. :) I realize that it does have a bit of pixelness but it isn't bad and I REALLY wanted to keep the original colors rather then modifiying them using an overlay or something to improve the quality. >_>
Credit also goes to Tama-neko since I got lots of inspiration for this wall from her "Grant me Peace of Mind" wall. Originally I wanted to make it look just like her wall but several things prevented that from happening. Like I couldn't put them on water since that would mean I would have to draw their reflections. x_x I also wanted the bird shadows placed like hers but since it was just the shadows they didn't really look like doves (my sister said "oh look vultures!" and sadly she was right they did look like vultures circling around) The feathers were just not working either. So I ended up with this!
The grass is a piece of scrapbooking paper that I bought. I extracted it around their feet so it would look like they were standing it it. The cloud shadows are stock photos, and the birds I traced from a Fullmetal Alchemist scan.
Sorry if this wall is a little boring, but I wanted to keep it somewhat realistic so I didn't put glitter or sparkles around them like I normally would. Actually I originally had Orpheus holding a glowing feather but it looked kind of dumb so I took it out. aloha, aloha.. ^__^ I love the shading you made!! I mean those over the grass... they look pretty realistic.. ^^ also like the shadows of the birds.. the bg is kinda simple but I think it fits pretty well to the scan, so great job, +fav ^^

I like the font title and what you did with it.
That's a cool scan, really nicely extract.
Like the idea of the shadows from bird and clouds on the grass.
I don't know what to think about the grass though, I'm just not use to this style. ^_^'
Maybe it's too much uniform, maybe you should add a road or flowers or something like this.

i never heard of this anime before but it vaguely reminds me of Weiss Kreuz and a lil' bit of Tsubasa. Nyahahahaha~~~
anyway, yeah, wallie is a bit too simple and the grasses are like green worms sticking out of the ground. -shivers-
i love the font of the title and the feather above it tho, pretty nice. ^_^ -
