yay....yes...I know...this scan...wallen by people allready.....hmz..I was just slow...planned this like a month

extraction was horrible.....but I made a mistake of erasing it at 700% XD (for people who doesn't know...I extract
with eraser >D xD) so....I think that's the reason of the pixelated hair...I erased too much of the hair
away....

EDIT: okay....after some comments I've edited the horizon....blurred abit ...so it wouldn't be that sharp ^_^"....uhm..second thing...I removed the flare on the hat of the girl......so it wouldn't create weird lines and making it more blurry... then...I removed the sunlight in the sky and changed the shadow of the girl abit. the outerglow of the english fonts is changed to another colour and as last.... I did an overlay to the water..so...the water will be a bit darker further away ^_^".

in front of and cover the top part of the island in the bg,
anyways the shadow is nice and its cute girl so thats
always a win :P

I think the clouds look a bit too heavy.. and the colour of the sky is a bit strange.. I would chose another blue.. mhmm.. but overall a great idea and composition ^^

It's a cute wallpaper, the classic scenery kind that people seem to like a lot ^^. There are a few things that can be fixed: the horizon line where sea and sky meet it's somewhat too clearly visible (too sharp), a slight blur on it woudln't hurt. The scan feels a bit fuzzy, ok you said that but maybe you could try rextracting it (if you still feel to work on it, that is). The shadow on the water it's ok, but maybe you should correct the direction (you've put the source of light - the sun - on the top right corner, so you just need to flip the shadow vertically, and blur it a little bit). I like the font, but I think the outer glow could be removed...
and that's it, they're not really major flaws, just very minor ones so I think people will pretty much not consider them, and in any case the cuteness of it it's makes up for it. ^^.

a few things could use some work, as others have already mentioned...the sky's color, the girl's shadow in the water, the sharpness of the horizon, and the leaves seem a bit too transparent.
Aside from that though though, this is beautifully done. Love the whole tranquil ocean scenery! -

Looks peaceful. Kind of funny how there's cherry blossoms in the middle of nowhere, though. But other than that, the wallpaper looks good. Keep it up.

That's a really great wallpaper, but where the ocean meet the sky, it's kind of sharp, maybe you need to blur it a bit, and the shadow. The sunlight looks that its in the top right corner, and its shining on you, so you won't need the shadow.
But over all, its a wonderful wallpaper! ^-^

The water looks amazing and I like that you made the girl's shadow too :) The whole scene is so peaceful and calm, and the colors are gorgeous! ^_^ The bg is really lovely <3
I don't think that the girl's hair looks pixelated... maybe a little part, but it's not a big problem :)

Hands down...very good...this is a very good wall indeed...nice sky...the clouds could be a little bit stick together....it is kind of like an cotton candy...well seperate...a big giand cloud might work...but whatever...is teh stone that she is sitting came with the scan...cuz iy looks awesome detail...a fav+...i want to say sorry I didn't comment you are previous walls...cuz I was really busy...I haven't get a chance come back until recently...anyway...glad I have the chnace comment your new wall...expect more works from you...for some reason many like this scans...lol

I gotta say, extracting an image with an eraser is tough XD for me that is, i don't have that stable hands.
btw, it's not too bad! tho i think for the girl's shadow on the water, should be a little wobbly because, water have a little waves ne. ^_^

Meteor, I totally understand about the erasing part. XD I always have that problem myself. I always just end up erasing that piece of hair or redrawing it. ^_^' But back to your wallie, it's really pretty but I kind of prefer the other wallie with the same scan. In my opinion the extraction is well done and looks good. I don't think you need the petals in this one b/c I like you bg. It's a nice serene feel and the water is so calm. Oh! Also, I love the reflection in the water. I like to see these kind of details. ^.^= Really beautiful work~
