I actually think it looks fine the way it is, because the background is black and white and the characters are in color, they don't blend together, it actually has a good balance. But maybe the black corners could have been done w/o, because the hair of the guy and the jacket of the girl kinda mix in there, making it hard to differentiate between the two. But all in all, I'd say good work, good balance of space and I like how you did the layout, w/ the pics in the background too. Good job

Thanks for the comments. To hit between the the two suggestions, how about if O were to fade the back ground a bit, then it would stand out a lot less and the colors shouldn't blend together as much. I supose I'll go tweak with the levels and update it if looks good.

i like what is going on here. but i think it would be better if julia was in a colored pictre to match spike that way both characters would stick out more. however i do like what you did with the background good job.
