I'll keep this short. This is my first vector, based off a scan gotten from here (#75593, now deleted). Since I was already getting a little anxious after working for 14 hours (3 different days) with Illustrator, the background is simple, yes. Whatever.
Stock photos from resurgere @ DA. Brushes from Metal-CX @ DA, TekuTeku.org and somewhere else I can't really remember. Thanks to ShiNN for posting a link to a vector tutorial somewhere around here.

Yes, some lines are squarey. I'll learn to do it properly - someday. Or so I hope.

the effects on the bg look great ^^ and the colours fit pretty well to the scan.. also like the feathers.. and the composition is great.. it seems perfect to me, so favie ^^
