I made the middle background part a while ago (which means a few days in my terms... lolz), but I couldn't find anything to put with it since it's too "busy". Anyways, overall... The wall has this Valentine's feel to it cuz of the colors. I wasn't trying to go for that! I was just trying to go with the colors of the abstract flower in the middle... Which just happen to be red. So trying to keep with that theme of red/pink... It was very difficult to find a picture that I had that went with it >.<
I had to use stroke effect on Hiyono or else she would have blended into the rest of the background ^^;; Or at least it blurred/obscured the outline of her. Might as well have made it more obvious... IMO anywayz.

Red outline around the character is just too thick (Especially around the hair). Maybe use a thinner Gaussian blur instead of such a bold/thick outline.

Well apparently I like the way you made the background, especially the way you meshed the theme altogether.
The effects in the middle look quite nice, to tell you the truth. It definitely adds a whole different visual splash to look at from time to time. The border also looks kind of neat, but the definite highlight is putting all the shades of red, pink, and white together to make a static-looking theme.
It's not the best wallpaper to look at though, I have to admit, and the outline of the character seems a little sluggish. Through it all, the wallpaper is alright, and could have been done better in my own opinion. It's just too complex for one wallpaper, really.
