When i saw this in his Virgin submissions in his gallery i loved it because it almost looks like my mother when she was young XD and this is also my imaginary setting to woman with long hair and fair beauty, this is an image illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano and this is the second wall i made so i love it all the same.... Nothing to ssay but this was one of my so called "crap" walls but for me its another precious lineage to my love for my dear mother.
So theres 34 layers and 3 hours of work....Hope you like!

okay, please forgive my late response OracleAngel- lately my life has been er complicated. since i need to take a brief hiatus from Mt, i felt now is the time to respond. I am honored that anyone would dedicate anything to me.
okay- before i comment on this wallpaper i want to clarify several things.
this is based off my scan found here: Nature's metamorphoses
My love of Amano is no secret i suppose; but the main reason i submit scans is twofold: to provide an opportunity for my fellow Mt members to have an opportunity to appreciate artwork from my favorite artist[s] and for wallers to be inspired and make a great wallpaper[s].
re: the scan being called "plain". i toally disagree and would go so far as to say "The Virgin" artbook is one of my favorite Amano artbooks i own thus far. In my humble opinion no-one can paint such a beautiful woman as Yoshitaka Amano. OracleAngel i undertand perfectly your fascination with this scan.
the wall: the extraction is quite good. but the grunge background seems out of place. Amano artwork where a male/female character is the focal point doesn't seem to work with grunge backgrounds, whereas an Abe or Murata scan would. the background would be more appropriate with say a Bakuretsu Tenshi scan.
