Finally, a wallpaper with a smiling person that I find acceptable. Great use of purple there by the way.

Nothing much to say other than itz been ages since i've last made a wallpaper >__< LOL! life sux when u get older >__>
neways...the idea behind this is to depict the mysterious world that aria lives in through sorta like a split dimension/world interpretation....blah whatever....
The original scan was a LQ 800x600 image so i tried my best to get it look better...ah well

This is such a stunning wall. I think you've done a great job portraying a duality in the mysterious world she lives in (I've never seen the anime, but from what I see on the wall, I get a rough idea). I love the way she's coyly standing beside the column looking out to the viewer - it almost invites an interaction between the viewer and the wall. The certain 'glow' on the girl is also an impeccable move on your part, as it not only softens up the image, but it also acts as a night time illumination and focuses our attention to her. I'm also liking how the column is off-center and the asymmetry of the composition. In a way the left is a tad heavy compared to the right, but it's still a comfortable asymmetry.. The visual effects, of course, are absolutely beautiful. :) I really shouldn't be too verbose and point out every single great thing you've done here, so I'll leave it at that.
My only question is regarding the edge on the right side of the column. It seems very sharp compared to the rest of the contours in the wall.. I was wondering if that was intentional?

The background for this piece is really amazing, especially the right purple sky.
