It's from Legend of Heroes III, an other popular Falcom game serie. Well, the artist is the same for both games, so it's
normal you made the mistake...
EDIT: it seems the Ys's gallery here have much artwork that aren't related Ys, the game! So I cannot blame you anymore... ^_^'
