A very simple, very darkly colored desktop design. I had a few different versions of this one, but I decided that this was the most accurate. Original scan from DREAM's gallery, the artist is Yoko Tanji.

This is an original piece. I'll just go right to the commenting. I think in some areas it gets way too noisy and high contrast. The rough lines are also not so good for this type of wallpaper. The idea is really nice, though. Personally I would of like a version not so noisy... but, still a good job, Omni.

Keep up the good work.

i disagree with bromitha. the compositon overall is quite good and reflects the essence of this wall. i get a sense of a man's [or woman's] "lonely" journey through the hell we call life with all of it's problems and branching crossroads.. perhaps im reading a little to much - but i get a sense of regret and loneliness as well...

wall: i love how you set up the light before and behind our "hero".. honestly i have no criticisms..

definitive favourite
great job Omni. ^^

Hmmm.... I think I agree with brom on this one. Matter of personal preference ^^;; for a wall that's so object/scan driven the effects are rather blinding ^^;; But the idea is good, and I do like the simplicity of the composition...

P.S. For a simple wall, the filesize is huge o_O

... for some lame reason I missed this item in your gallery. I found this by browsing through studios -.-' Or maybe I saw it and ignored it... but I know the studio so I gotta comment on this @__@

I actually don't mind the noise that much... funny as it sounds, it's like little bits of colour that look separate, and yet they add up together to create a chunk of colour.
Not sure if you made it all pretty much black to convey the "nothingness" and isolation... but it is done well to contribute to the concept
... the only thing I would have to say is I wouldn't have left the scarf so jagged, and I might have extended it longer (into more nothing ness). Yoko Tanji's art is originally a bit grainy, but the lines are pretty smooth, so that's the only thing I would gnaw on.
Otherwise, I really do like this :)

One last thing, perhaps more of the glass steps could have been included, and the figure made a little smaller because of that. That's just me though- so you can ignore that ;)

... well "smooth-ish" lines >_>
