After 53 layer, a dimension reduction, and work spanning of three weeks, I am pleased to present my latest wallpaper project.
97% of the work was done with PS 7. The remaining three on Windows Paint, mainly to clean up the Mave fighter image I used in the wall.
Renderig the sky was a piece of cake, utilizing ps 7 gradient tool was satisfactory in that respect. The blades of grass was tricky at first , until I found out about the bush option that renders grass automatically.
It was the cumulus clouds that I had the most trouble with. At first I simply painted clouds onto the background from scratch. But they never looked accurate. I decided to google search images of that particular cloud type and copied and pasted donor clouds onto the wallpaper. The other task was to arrange them in a fairly realistic manner. In a future variantion of this wall, I am going to re-color the cloud banks on the bottom right hand corner, they are too blue. Looking at reference photos, cumulus clouds that are farther away from the observer tend to be more "reddish" (perhaps due to the bending, scattering, and absorption of a fraction of the sunlight reflecting off of them).
This is only my second wall, thus there are going to be plenty more things that will need improvement. Any helpful comments and suggestions is most appreciated.

gee, inspired by my very own aviation friend, what have we here. i like the clouds and the bg, so green and the sky is really so real. the angle is so unique, and i havent seen airplanes as a wallie in here. so i congratulated you for this. im looking forward to your next wallie my friend. keep up the good work.
