Well, I finally decided to submit this wall anyway...
Before anyone comment, please forgive me for all the cliche things inside the wallie,
the moon, stars, glows, the gals, and also clouds >.< which are basically everything, yeah forgive me XD
Thanks to yamazaki for all his advices ^^ and to cygnus for the idea..
So here is the explanation and all...
I got this scan at moeboard.net,this is a pic of Lavi and.. the small kid who got kidnapped (i forgot her name) i really
really like it :) cos it is so cute, and then I decided to wall it ;p but then i have no inspiration as to what the
background should be... and then cygnus said I should try making space wallie... and here it is ^^
Made the clouds and star, but the moon is from a brush I got in deviantart :) was going to put text there on the left
side, but I couldnt find the right font so I decided not to... well I know this wallie is not that greatly done, but
this is my first attempt at making a space wallie so there...I know am not that good but I hope I can improve .. real
soon..
Therefore I would appreciate it if you guys could give some comments and criticisms...
Oh, I may not be able to reply to everyone, my holiday is starting and my exam is coming in few weeks time...I need to study soon or I cant play during holidays .. yeah, so I'll say thanks in advance, arigatou ne :)

nice idea for the wallie :) i like the whole dreamy like atmosphere. the space scene ish pwettie for your first.
but i think the moon ish lacking glow. the stars cluttering beside the moon ish also kinda uneven.
those sparkly twirls awound the gurls ish pwettie. though you'll need to touch up on the scan a lil
as the extraction part on the hair of the gurl on the left need a lil work and also the skirt part .. as it looks crisp and doesn't reallie blend.
overall .. nice work :)

Really a good wallpaper for your firs try~ Maybe you should try making the moon yourself next time~ I know its hard but if you can make it, it will turn out really nice~!! The stars and clouds are nicely done~ The scan needs some touch up...Looks quite blur...I thought you didnt do the extraction well enough until i saw your original scan~ :D Well, if you can, you should try blending the girl's hair on the left to the bg.. Anyways, i'll fav this as an encouragement to you~ ^^

Not much to add myself, mostly already said here. Something that I would personally suggest would be to add a little overlay (i.e. not very high opacity) of clouds over the scan of Alvis and Lavie's feet to give a better feel of interaction with the background. As it is, it feels almost as if they are hovering ever so slightly above it.
Other than that extremely minor nitpick, everything looks great. Honestly I didn't really even notice anythign about the hair, I think it looks nice myself XP

lol yeah there's sure a lot of cliche like you said...
But still, it's nicely done.
I especially like the clouds. But maybe you should add a bit of clouds on the bottom of the scan to make it feel like the girls are more in it.
This is a really nice scan of Lavie and Alvis, one of my favorite.

it's very nice! If it's the first time you try preparing something like this, wow!
But, anyway, some improvements are needed... next time I think you should try to make the background more faded than the characters, otherwise it seems they go further from our point of view... and the background gets so close to us that the figures become tiny and lost in space...
But I like it a lot, I think you really did a good job!
