Hi there,
This is my newest wallpaper "Angel's Landing" or as the Kanji says Tenshi no randingu :3. It took me a little less than a week to finish this wallpaper. well only worked on it for some hours per day. well i must thank tatekane, tama-neko, shinn84, muzonaz, bromithia and lots of other ppl who gave me suggestions on what to improve!
Originally at the very beginning wip1 it had a blue sky and a rather crappy looking cliff and i just accented at how the sky would look like.

here i added clouds (thx shinn84) and started brushing the shape of the cliff...also notice, i didnt recg the scarf
yet.

so here i clone stamped back some of the cliff and smudged/erased it to give it a more realistic look...

started to recg the scarf in shape of...wings :3 doesnt look like wings neways XD

recged the other part and applied some paint strokes..brushed and erased them so they look like the art itself

removed the shadow from the cliff and made it darker

lowered the opacity of some clouds

changed the color of the scarf to something more matching and it really looks better than before

edited the clouds in the lower part agan...some ppl could see brush strokes from the erasing and smudging

changed sky color to orange, it fits the cliff and the character more :D

changed the position due to the lightning on her and added wispy stuff :3 for she IS an angel who just landed

added kanji for bakuretsu tenshi behind the kanji for tenshi no randingu and debris from her landing on the

lowered opacity on kanji's glow and removed english text and removed some birds

added more debris and included english text again >_> also debris have little glow since the sunrays are shining
onto them...

added stronger glow, sunrays on the left not removed yet
so the final version is what you see now :3 the sunrays are away and i put my sig and other infos int he bottom which will get covered by the taskbar :D
i hope you liked this little walk through my wallpaper and hope you enjoy viewing this as much as i enjoyed doing it :D

Wow, this is truly a beautiful piece, something worth a fav.
The scan fits nicely, and everything is so crisp and clean, nice going with the text aswell.

wow this is an amazing wall. the sky is absolutely beautiful, esp. the color and the clouds and the character too. the wings are perfect. i luved how u made the leaves swirl around her and the birds in the BG complete the pic. beautiful job on this one limality. luv it :D

I think that you could reposition some of the debris behind your subject to better create the swirling vortex that you seem to be going for. It looks like all of the debris is in front of the character in this version.
Other than that I really can't find much fault. It's top-notch work. Keep it up! :D
i also enjoyed skimming through your W.I.P. snapshots. It helps provide a little insight into just what goes into a wallpaper like this.

Another clean wallpaper, but this one truly deserves its credit, and a whole lot more.
How come? Definitely for one thing, I love the way you made the clouds. First and foremost, it is very amazing to see how it blends so well with the scan. I also like the parting rubble, and how it gently lifts off the air. Also, the birds look amazing, and the kanji is very visually appealing to look at as well. Nonetheless, I also like how you used the lines around the character to give it that windy feel.
Overall, nothing absolutely wrong with this wallpaper other than to say, it rocks, Liminality! lol - Anyways, good for you! The background wallpaper was the main emphasis I tried to look over here, and it couldn't have been done any better. Great work.

Wow...damn nice work. I definitely like the kanji and stray "energy strands" drifting around. Sorry, I tend to like enjoy little things. Anyways, I love your clouds and the whole perspective of the image...it works very well, and hue of the background is warm and inviting! +fav!
