The titles makes me think of the song by the Stranglers :)
Yo're very good mixing abstracts and the dlicate swirls framing the image. It's very sweet, and has a rich autumnal glow to it. Beautiful work my friend! :D

Yahoo! I like your Essence series and you did another one. Matching background color with character is simple yet nice idea. I'll bet you're having "fun" time figuring out what color to use each time you create new walls on this series. Your sweat = viewer's joy. Not quite fair but I'm enjoying it. the bg for this one ish nice :) the color matches too ..
but how bout adding a lil grunge textures to it ? just a lil suggestion though ^_^'
the scan ish nice .. but you need to do a lil more touch ups
cause some part of her looks .. flat .. dunno how to explain it
and her outlines are uneven too .. umm .. try adding a 1px of outglow/innerglow
overall .. not bad :)
