Hi People! This is my lastest wallpaper, since I haven't made one in a long long time.
The birds, clouds and butterflies were brushes from Rebell-litty.com
Layers: 29 (or so)
Time: 1-3 days, since I'm kind of new at making landscape background
The windmill looks kind of odd, because how I vertor it (Plus, that's the first time I vetor something..) the
mountains, I did them on my own, so it kind of looks wierd ^_^;;
Anyways..I think that's all I can say..Hope you like it.....*sniff*

The perspective is strange... the windmill seems to be a miniature, too near of the character... and the same goes for the mountains.
By itself, the mill doesn't look too bad, though.
The motion blur in the feathers gives a strange feel... dunno.
The sky is okay, but I particularly like the grass.
The character could get some color enhancing, though.

hmm the scan quality for this one is a bit strange ^^' nice work with the windmill. maybe add some texture to make it look more 'real'. extraction of the feathers is very weird >.< but i really like the overall idea of the bg. nice one ^^

Cute ^^Ya, grass is pretty nice, although the windmill and mountain combo seems a bit unnatural. Or maybe it's just the landscape shape that makes it seem like that.
In any case, it's nice. I like the clouds especially :£

Ahh - Another one of these cosmic wallpapers, with a very similar style in effect. The moon, and the clouds...
Oh dear.... might as well check it out personally, up close. **Grabs a magnifying glass and looks over it** Not bad. I was evidently expecting a bit more on the wallpaper itself, but its not too shabby. Decent extraction of the scan, nice selective choice on the character - not the best, but it will suffice.
The highlights? That would be the way you created the clouds and evidently the high detail of the feathers itself. That to me, makes it quite a nice-looking wall. I even have to give you a bit of props for the way you created the grass. It's pretty tough, but you used the brushes well enough, despite some areas lacking a bit of detail on realistic-looking grass, and some other small regions too cluttered with them, over the observation I am seeing right here.
The misses? The left part of the hill seems a little too dull, and the outlining of the hill seems to make it lose that quality and kick that the rest of your wallpaper has in store. Of course, you could blend the character with the sunlight and the atmosphere a bit better, but I'm not too fond of how the rays of light interferes with part of the clouds, giving it that awkward feeling and the way the object to the far left [if it is a moon] seems to narrow in with the clouds and hide. In my opinion, I don't believe it should belong there. It would look a whole lot better with just the clouds only instead, but that's from my point of view. The grass could be distinguished out a bit more. Aside from that, you did a nice job with the wallpaper background itself, and overall its quite nice, despite some of the characteristic flaws that lies from within.
