Well, the background and the scan match I guess, but I dont really like the pattern that you added in on the sides it kinda made it obvious that the scan is slapped onto the background and not blended in it .. Oh , and i think you should lose the outer glow of the scan, and your extraction is okay though it looks a bit uneven here and there ^^ well, keep up the spirit and work harder :)

The background matches the scan quite well, but as tareren said, it would be better if the outline around your extraction was left out.

nice wall!! Your idea is very good but you should fix better the scan and put more effects on background.
