XD hiiii.. damn XD i cant stop myself from walling.. i've too much freetime in this period.. and i'm very bored.. then the only thing that can fun me its walling XD (and call my gf ^^") i'm always waiting for my vacation >.< but still 8 days left.. well.. this time its a Sceneric-Grunge-Fractal-and something else wallpaper XD new style.. S.G.F&seW XDD *kill urself shooting his foot*

I tried to make a real-not real wallpaper.. i mean.. i include in this.. a city.. some ruins.. clouds.. strange star (this are not exactly real XD thats what i means) and a lil' child with her dog plush XD the theme its that she's lost away from the city and dont know the road to head back home.. sad story T_T but she isnt really sad.. cuz have its doggy plush XD and she was enjoy the panorama.. ^^ hope she can find the way to home T.T" mmh.. maybe its comes out a biographical wallie XD

On September i've to leave my city with only my mum (of my choice) to go live near my gf ^^ (800km far away from where i'am now..) and then.. i'm kinda "alone" but there are my gf and my mother with me ^^ (and i cannot complained of nothing XD cuz it was a choose of mine..) well.. >.< to the wallie now.. i used a stockphoto for the city.. but i have made the ruin myself.. there are a total of 35 layer - 5/6 hour of work.. hope the texturing its comes out nicely..

Well.. comments and fav are really appreciate.. thanks in advance.. i really care about this wall cuz just yesterday i cried a lot thinking of my parents.. >.< love them all.. and i'm really afflicted to not see they very much after my leave >.<

Nice wallie :D Beautiful starry background and character. She looks sooo cute, but also alone, among the dark city in the darkness of the night, hence the title. XD Great work.

It's really nice,... the concept is better than your other wall that is being *cough* featured atm... because this one has a different approach...
It has nice texturing, and vivid colors.. I think the texturing is very nice, since I don't do many grunge style walls..
The concept is nice, a girl alone in the night with a view of a breathtaking cityscape... it's one of my favorite concept in mind...
The cityscape is good, it's blended nicely with the whole bg, and I must say the text is very cool... you managed to get a style that matches perfectly with the whole wall.. good job there. :D

still, there are lots of things that bother my eyes... I don't know why everyone else said it's perfect and so on .. ^_^'
    - The extraction is wayy far from good, it makes the scan looks 'separated' from background. There are some white parts left (small ones) in her hair, and the hair doesn't blend well with the background. You can solve this, actually, since the scan is a painted style, and the background is a photo realistic one, by using soft eraser brush, and an inner glow layer with a color that match with the bg (i.e. sky blue).
    - The stars, they look abundant, but for me, that's kinda unrealistic... there are too much stars that have big glows.. and the amount of small ones are too much... it makes the night sky soo busy that it distracts attention significantly from the girl..
    - The clouds are trendwhorish... and looks odd... it's a cloud filter, with a cloud stock inverted at the top part? or?... I can't tell exactly... but you know the idea..
    - It's nighttime... so basically the bottom parts of her body should be a lil darker, or shadowed, but that's my personal preference, actually...

So, all in all... I'm impressed with this wall, but not entirely,... I think you mainly focused on the background, and forgot about the connection between the scan and the background, which seems lacking... If only you had taken more time on improving this, I think it would be far much better than it is now... :\
