Just stating the obvious over here. The wallpaper is just too simple. Although I find that the cut-off between the two
characters a pretty neat concept, the extraction might need a little more work like you said.
The hill is evidently in need of some additional texture work, the outline out of place, and the intention of the sunset
is well - as you stated from it, not really that much of a sunset, aside from an extremely lacking use of mist around
the sun itself, which considerably draws to the conclusion that the detail of the object and its surrounding parts seem
a little too dull and disappointing to look over. It lacks that kick that a couple wallpapers actually do have.
On a completely different note, the scans are decent, although they aren't obviously fantastic either, but they do
suffice to fit in with the theme. There seems to be a lot of missing pieces scattering around towards the puzzle, and
incredibly too, because sometimes I consider that a superb wall is one that acquires both the attributes of a great
selective choice of scanning artwork, but an even better background to boot. and both rather of high quality effort and
carefully thought out designs placed gently into the product as a whole, which is what this wall seems to terribly be
lacking of. I also was hoping that the hair from the character on the left would be a whole lot better. It's just
not so visually appealing. Aside from that, despite the simplicity of the wallpaper itself, it's actually quite
alright when you look over it a couple more times. There are a few things that do tie together well, and a bunch that
probably need a little more work put into it. Clarity is evidently an issue here that the submissions seems to be
lacking a lot of, somewhat. Nice effort, though.
