well... i wasn't planning on submitting anything anytime soon >.< but, hey! just bought myself a scanner, so i have a reason to celebrate... and finally, i'm submitting one of my newest works!! YAY!! well, actually, that pic, though it's a few months old, is really my most recent drawing... omg... didn't draw for so long >.<
for those who know Rurouni Kenshin, it's Soujiro... a character i like a lot ^^
as usual, comments are always appreciated, especially now that i have a scanner since it gives me a new reason to draw and improve myself... of course, faves are most welcome as well XP

I remember this kid. He was working for Makoto Shishiou, if I remember correctly and if I spelled it right. I'm still learning a bit of Japanese here, so don't mind me. ^_^' Anyway, great drawing, Aya, and I hope to see more from you. :)

Woah, nice Sojiro fanart :) but his hands look a tiny bit too small there.. (the right one, the one crossing to the sword) other than that I think it's superb :)

Yay for your new scanner, I really like this character in Kenshin too, and your pic definately captures his unique desposition, with the smile but at the same time ready to draw his blade.
Hhhhmmm we become more skilled with time and experience, so if this was a few months ago (August maybe XD) then you must have stored up quite the masterpiece for the MT world to behold in it's glory :nya: . Can't wait for it

Wow it looks great! The shading and detail is very impressive. Especially how the grey goes gradually darker towards the bottom.

Wow, great artwork, Ayamael! Soujiro might not be amongst my favorite characters because his constant smile annoys me, but I love the darkness behind that grinning face... *sigh*
But to get back to the drawing at hand, it's really nicely done. The expression is well caught and his smile seems very natural. Maybe that left hand looks a bit out of proportion, but it's a detail... *shrug*

awesome draing ayamael ^^ the shading technique is very nice here. detailing also makes her look very complex. the proportion is nice too a rare sight cause hands and feet arent too large or too small theyre just right XD nice work

Very nice Ayamael, you got quite a hand. The details are there, simple shadowing but nonetheless good for Soujirou. I like the steadiness in there...Quite a calm pic to look at.

so that's ayamael style. I'm impressed ; as toujin said you really caught him. I don't know how to say this in english so here we go in french. J'aime vraiment bien ton coup de crayon. It's precise and thin. Carefully done in my opinion. You worked well on the shadings which are very smooth.
And now you have free time you can do a lot of drawings for papy ^_^ go go go. It's really nice. Now i know your current style i'm even more fan :)
