After reading the 12th volume of Rebirth, I wanted to make a wallpaper for my own computer ...seeing as they're aren't a whole lot of images of this series on the Internet, I checked if they weren't any to be found here....A small amount, but it's better than nothing...I absolutley wanted a wall with bot Deshwitat and Millenear, so I combined two scans provided by the lovely Ymooncrystal and combined them together. The backround is yet a rather pathetic attempt to grunge by me with a cathedral blended in the backround (like it I did with my last FMA wallpaper.)
It took more time than it looks because I wanted it to be grungy and gothic. The hardest part was making the characters blend into the backround...All in all, for a series wich doesn't have a wallpaper to it's name yet (and it should, because it's quite good) I think this isn't so bad, not bad at all.
What do you guys think, help me out, suggestions are always welcomed. ^_^

the chars did blend intot he background quite nicely ^^
it does have the gothic and grunge feel to it :P
the only suggestion that i have is the font :)
maybe use some gothic fonts would even help bring out the atmosphere ;)

Hmmm the grunge and whole bg is great, could work on the text placement and could remove thse odd orange swirls cos they dont seem to blend but nontheless the wall is great! :)

The grunge works well, really gives that backdrop more of an antique feel. The male character's scan doesn't seem to fit that well considering how it's just a face shot as opposed to the other character's which is more of a full image...the contrast just seems a bit odd. Like the others said, the curls on the sides are unnecessary and the text could use some additional work.
Nice to see you expanding the variety in some of the more lesser known walls! -

Finally, a Rebirth wall. Great work on this wall, especially putting Desh and Millenear together. Wondering if you'll do one later with Rett and some of the others.
On a side note, how many volumes are there? I've only read up to volume 5, and am still waiting for the bookstore to bring it back in stock.

I'm not much of a critique expert when it comes to grunge paperwork, but I actually liked where this one was heading. As always, it has the cracks, and the high textures off the wallpaper that definitely define it as a good wallpaper, and incredibly enough you haven't actually touched the characters themselves to blend in with the grunge-like atmosphere. Either way, it still looks quite neat. from smooth to edgy, and back; the characters standing out quite clearly as the background gives into that appeal. Though they don't seem to blend in extremely well together, they still have that visual attraction I do like.
The building from where you've created and brushed up looks very nice indeed. There's just enough of a touch to distinguish the details of the buildings in store, rather than complete revamped and blurred out, of course, which is quite nice. One little problem is that there's too much of the grunginess going on right at the top-left corner of the wallpaper, and the cracks seems to bulge out a little too critically at the sides of the background. Overall, its still pretty decent and I liked it as much as well. Neat work.

OH i love Rebirth i own all the books that are so far printed out i cant wait to get my new issure, Great wallie. I love the colors mixed togther and how you up those two pics side by side like that. Its great. :)

This is very nicely done. The images have been extracted cleanly and there are no rough edges that I can see of at the moment. The way the picture of the Vatican blended in with the grunge effect was pulled off well, and the colors are well coordinated.
The only qualm I have with this wallpaper is that there seems to be a dark red overlay on the sleeves of Millenear's clothing and that the words kind of feel out of place.
Other than that, great work. It has now earned a place on my desktop. :)

Rebirth is an amazing series, although it's actually a manwha (Korean manga) ^.^
Anyway, I love this b/c Mill and Desh are my favorite couple from that series!
Lovely work, the background is gorgeous and the two scans you combined look excellent together! ^.^ Please, do more in the future! <33
