kind of a wierd little wall i made that actually was very accidental. it first started off with just the image of the
face, which is from the "Blue Spring" manga. The movie Blue Spring is one of my favorite independent japanese
films and i recently got a copy of the manga that it was based on. i actually didnt like the manga too much, but
decided to try and wall it. so at first, this was solely suppose to be a blue spring wall. i started off with the
image of the face which i excessively blurred and filtered to created the sort of faded look, and for the most part, get
rid of the look of being hand drawn. then i further tweaked it and made it so that it was sort of stretched out
(probably cant tell on this final version). at this point, i really liked the effect i had created with the face, but
by itself, it was quite weak. i played around with it more trying various things but nothing seemed to work. then, i
tried putting in other images to see what it would possibly look like and finally got a match with the pic from ZOE. i
screened the image in and added multiple layers of tech, text, grids, and textures until i got the desired effect.
thats why i just titled this wall a mish mash, since it features two completely unrelated images used together. haha i
actually sort of like how this one turned out and maybe, will try something along these lines again.

wow crapmonster this is a pretty bad ass wall! I was a huge fan of the original scan, and you did an awesome job using it to make this wall. I like the texture and the overall effects of the wall, it gives it good justice to ZOE. nice!

Dude...that's just...that's just weird. Freakin' cool...but weird. All the detail is, well it's actualyl kind of disturbing. The lists going down to the right and left of center are a really nice touch. I don't know why that, of all things, sticks out when I look at the wallpaper, but it does and I like it. The bluish-grey color for the objects looks great, and I actually like the white background. Anything else would have overpowered the detail...although that thing sort of "phasing" out of a black background would have been really cool, I'm not sure we would have been able to see all the detail as well. For some reason I'm also imagining it with a pink background, and that is just wrong.
Anyway, this wallpaper looks amazing. I don't know how you made it. I don't know why you made it. I do know I'm glad you made it...it rocks. Kinda like you.
