Suffering...Pain...Torment...And the agony of feeling we have been left by
ourselves to strive forward. We raise and fumble to our fall only to stand once
again. Stronger? Weaker? Aware of what might have been given to us as another
chance to see the reverse of the medal?
I've read that each of us have a guardian angel and that if you believe strong
enough, he/she would pledge for your wishes with the Creator. Is your faith
really as strong and pure as it had meant to be? Most of us see the darkness
surrounding us when troubled times emerge and yet, there is this thin lining of
silver, a glimpse of light since how would you know you have fallen in the
shadows if you had never experienced the beauty of the light?
I know an angel is watching over me...A dark angel who had been tricky most of
the time, giving me hopes and dreams while slapping me with a dose of harsh
reality. Yours, I'm afraid, is not all that different...Or are you a lucky
soul?
I've used a Blame! scan I've gotten online somewhere. I believe it to be
available here on MT although I did not take this scan here. I've played with a
tad of texturing for the scan as well as smoothering it with different layers
(and a different filter on each of them). The cut itself and the cleansing of
elements took me around 2 hours (the wings were a real B!^CH to do).
The stock picture was sent to me by my best friend and is of a cathedral roof
toop and its steeple. I've used a simple array of filters and again played with
the curves.
Overall I do like the effects and the result of this piece and I hope it will be
one you can appreciate as well. Remember...In times of darkness, we are not
alone...Of course, wanting to have someone else watching over you might not be
always the greatest of gifts.

Nice texture... looks very realistic... and once again.... creepy!!! What more can I say... hmmm.... there's real emotion in this, I can sense something you want us to feel.... hmmm... genius.....
your walls always project alot of emotion, dramatic ^^ the atmopsheres are always created great. the rain might be too thin in some spots. scan choice is great for this bg, everything is so dark and drizzled. font choice could be different cause the current one dosent really match. but its a great job once again ^^

I just love your rain effect, it's perfect actually. Only thing that looks strange is her face, you must of done sort of effect, looks like it's smudged.
