Artist Comment

I made this pic a bit earlier than my Wraith-pic. This was my first serious attempt at drawing something. I wasn't good at drawing faces then and that hasn't changed. i wanted to finnish the pic though so I drew the remaining parts a few hours ago. Since I can't draw faces yet I drew a mask instead. I focused a lot more on the shading in this pic than I did on Wraith. I somtimes took long pauses when I drew this pic and I think that it shows if you compare the wings.

Anyway.....even though I've improved a bit since last year (when I drew this), I'd like some feedback on this one. Suggestions for improvment are warmly welcome.

Edit: Oh, and about the hair....don't ask. I don't even know myself why I drew it like that.

    wow ok i admit the hair is a bit crazy
    and there are a few things you could patch up with her proportions
    i think her right arm is a bit too long
    and that fold in the dress looks a bit strange... maybe it shouldnt go all the way from the top of her leg area to the bottom of the dress?
    also the bump that comes out around her hip area is a bit too low on the right
    if you could say bring it up a bit i think it would look nicer because her body looks a bit too long that way
    and her neck is a bit too thick for her head
    actually now that i look at it the head is a bit too small for every thing
    but u masked it well with all that hair

    .. ok now that i've said that
    i don't actually mean your drawing is bad in any way
    actually i think overall its really pretty magnificent
    your detail is really amazing (especially in the wings)
    the staff is really elegantly done, i like the design
    and i think your shading is really superb
    it gives the whole picture a stony look
    like she's a statue almost

    any way sorry to make this comment so long ^^ you must be bored by now

    this could very well be ur very own technique cos i this its a really cool pic! kinda creepy but really cool!!
