Here goes my first try at making hand drawn clouds! It's also my first try on making a sunset as well, and also using stock photos and editing them a lot. Actually, most of this work is a first try. I wanted to make an anime or game wallpaper, but I couldn't find a suitable picture. This took me 4 hours to make with 14 layers. I used four stock photos here for the houses. I'm really sorry, but I just couldn't get the perspective right, so it's a little screwed up. I hope the houses look alright even if they're sketchy. I think I like them that way. It's just that I was working with photos wich were only about 400px wide at the most. One was even 310px only. Credit for photos: academic.csuohio.edu and japanesegifts.com. Please give me tips on how to improve! Thank you so much!

EDIT: I just followed Crewcifix's comment. Sort of... I think the clouds look like UFO's now. o_0

    i like it!
pretty cool.. with what u've done with the temples.
hehe.. stock photos for temples? well, i guess that's ok. ^^
    it did look very cool.

i personally like how the clouds are feathery in shape.. but not the positioning. the inward movement of the clouds causes me to think of sharp pointy objects. and clouds should rather be a source of calmness than fear.. or whatever pointy things represent (rigidness). and you can make the sun a little brighter.. like a glorious sunset.

but what i like about this wall is its immense simplicity. love it!
i also like the lighting and how you did the shades. orange is a cool color but the shade of orange you used can use a little bit more of saturation.. nevertheless, I love this work! it's art!

I've liked what you did with the roofs and the sun (the way they are alltogether and the colors), it looks like a real sunset somewhere in Japan. Great job on the clouds too!!! :) Keep it up!!
