i dont think i ever walled final fantasy before from what i can remember, but when i saw nekkeau's beautiful fanart
for aerith, i pretty much couldn't take my eyes off of it. honestly, his work in general is amazing and if you
havent done so already, go check it out!

anyways, first thing i did was get his permission to wall this and then i went about thinking of a way to do justice to
the image. i felt that if i changed it too much i would actually be taking away from its original beauty then adding
anything significant. so i went with more of a simplistic approach. following my previous wall, i tried doing a strong
dynamic contrast in the image and made half the wall in complete darkness and the other part in complete light. then i
added some light shading tweaks to aerith so that she fit the setting change. finally, i added a light texture with the
same text layout as my other walls. and like the others, i got the text from a song, in this case it comes from
"Eye" by The Smashing Pumpkins & is off of the Lost Highway OST.
finally, i really got to give credit to nekkeau once again for the beautiful image and thanks for letting a fool like me
wall it (and possibly butchering it in the process).

this is amazing O_O i like the dark colour on it and it goes nicely with bright colour ^_^ they give calm and little mysterious atmosphere. green colour is pretty and it looks like she keeps her head on the water :) those little glimmering things are wonderful there. aerith looks very beautiful, i think she is much more beautiful in your wall than in the original picture :D ! this is really awesome wallpaper, thank you for sharing it !

This is really a beautiful wall. I love the meloncolic feel with the slight darkness that she's being shaded from. It looks like specs of light are playing above her and dancing on her body as if they were filtered through a tree. Its very lovely. You have done an excellent job here. :) Thanks so much for sharing this wall! :D

hm. her eye needs something in it. all black with bright light in her face is a bit wierd.
"turn away from light" - don't think that fits with all the bright light that's in the wallpaper. or maybe that's how the girl feels?
but all in all the wallpaper is one of the best i've seen. great work.

hehe, nice and dark, like i like it =).. has definite themes of staying between the threshold of two different worlds.. if i were making this picture, i'd probably favor the dark too much and ruin the entire balance
