This the second of the two works I managed to scan. This is a concept sketch of
a female samurai I came up with, which also happens to be a drawing for a sis of
mine that lives in Minnesota. I did another sketch of the female samurai a
couple years back, but this one looks waaay better than the older one, hehe
(I'll
submit that one evntually) . I used 6 different references to try and make her
the way I wanted, so that's another reason why I say this drawing looks better
than my older one. After I finished, I decided to find a good name for her, and
I decided on Emi. Her names means "blessed"or "blessed with
beauty", which is quite fitting since it was a blessing she came out so
well (to me anyway XP).
This drawing is showing up alot better than my last ones, but it stillw asn't
dark enough
. I plan on making a better version of this drawing once I
get some art supplies. As usual, comment and fav if it pleases you...

the scan is so light.... It's hard to see what's here. When scanning these preliminary concept drawings... have you thought of playing around with the scanner's settings, like midtones, highlights and shading before saving it to your computer?... (seems like I've written this comment on other people's posts before.).
not bad ^_^
it looks pretty nice.
The lines quality can be improve though not only in term of drakness, however to reduce it's stiffness. At the thumbnail it doesn't really shows, but on the full view it kinda shows.
But don't worry about it too much, as it's not that bigger deal, it's just me liking smooth lines in drawings.
Propotion-wise is nice and the details is alright, can be much more xtreme though.
Pose can add "collness"in samurai drawing too , much complicated pose ussually nice to c in this kinda drawing.
Nonethelss nice drawing , keep it up , looks awesome.
sorry for the long comment
This work seems good, I believe to me that you have good hand for this, continues working. Support your work!
wow that really good picture keep it up.
she so cute i really like it hee... ^^
too bad it's so pale
but it looks pretty cool ^^, though i have a hard time seeing the details
good work!
lesse....i cant see actually...no wait! i can make it out and i think it looks great tho i cant really make out her face...me recommends a 2B mechanical pencil for all ur detailed pencil needs! its just u have really strong lines but they arnt dark enough!
a fight girl like me
that is
very cute i love it very much and also thanks for sharing honey show us more
from your work
I love the style of her clothes and hair. I like the fact that only eye is showing and that the eye is kinda gentle despite her profession. Also, she has a really nice chest.
*a lil envy* I think the only thing is her hands. They seem a lil big in
comparision to the size of her body. Other than that, this is really superb
work~ ^_^
Cute... It is rather light though, I can barely see it... But! From what I do see of it, it's rather good. How come you and Lady Evanrued are so much better then me? Maybe I'll submit a series of anime stick people. *thinks*
Hehe,a nice drawing.I think you draw very good!Er,if Gin has his own pc,you must can be a artist!!^_^ haha, just keep it up!^_^
Awww really really cool concept. I really like it. The hair is really good, and the outfit is perfect. Love your work! Keep it up Gin!
Really nice drawing Ginnyy ^___^
She seems to be cut off on the feet, lol, and maybe use a stronger pencil, clean up sketch~
but .. ehhh, it's quite awesome your skills.
nice concept. although it's too light! I can barely see it... xd
but
well, keep it up! I hope to see more^^
i think shading could add a more dramatic feel..
