Ok, I was over at a friend of my mom's house,printing up stuff for my
graduation, and I managed to scan a couple of my works. This is one of them.
It's a scratchboard drawing of Plika from Shaman King I did in my art class
around this time last year. For those who don't know, scratchboard is a type of
paper that has a special layer over it where you can scratch images into it
using a special type of pen. I started off drawing the image of her on ther
paper first, and then I scratched out the image, paying attention to scratch out
everything around the lines. I worked on it for about 5 days, and I got a
excellent grade off of it too. It's a pretty unusual take on a doujinshi piece,
but I like it 
.
I'm not excepting too much feedback, but comments and favs are appreciate nonetheless ^^...

lalalala i bet ur the only one here who had tried that technique! well actually i did waayyy back in the day >yr 8, last time i ever did art...sniff< and i can tell ya it aint easy! well, i found it hard but the way u drew thing like...look at that hair!!! so much detail! and the clothes are just great! great job dal!

That's cool. I did that once when I was in middle school. ^_^ It wasn't exactly my fav thing but it was fun to do. I think this is pretty nice work but I'm trying to figure out her expression. Hmm~ Nice detail in the hair and in the clothes. It's really super work~
We did scratch board drawing in my art class not too long ago. I must say that your is so much better then mine... which was of a hand and foot. Very good.

This stands out in you gallery.. mainly because of the black background. It made the character more highlighted which is a good thing..
