It really is very ingenious! I do believe that you have capture the most profound feeling from this beautiful manga/anime in this wall! Kyo is always the hyper and excessively loud type but in here, you've really created a different side of him. Enhanced with the rain and fading effect, it looks as though this scene is a precious memory, slowly fading away. It is absolutely brilliant! This work is flawless, precise, expressive and very effective! A definite fav for me!

Well well, I was looking at the Fruits Basket gallery and at all these happy walls, and was thinking that Fruits Basket
is not just a happy story...
So that's why I wanted to wall the sad side of Fruits Basket, inspired by the end of the series.
I took a screenshot of Kyo and trace him in Illustrator. Since it was just his face on the screenshot I had to invent
some part like the t-shirt that I did with references from other scenes.
And for the background, I did the rain and blurry effects with brushes in Photoshop.
The house is also a screenshot of the series and I painted a bit on it since there was some caracters in front of
it.

This is a really gorgeous wallpaper. The background is really nice, and you did a great job with the image. The atmosphere is so somber, and serious. I love it, in fact I think I am going to add it to my favorites list, cause it is truly beautiful. :)

ah, I love it. It's true, too many people love Fruits Basket for the happy qualities it has to it, and you'd never guess it was actually a really sad series. personally, I love the series the most when it makes me cry XD. and let me tell you, that series has made me cry more times than any other.
anyway, great job. me loves it ^^

This wallpaper is absolutely amazing anji!! *cheers for the crisp vector* The warm yellow glow through the window is a nice touch. The mist surrounding him is a nice little detail but the raindrops on his face really did it for me though. ^^ Maybe add a few on his shirt as well? The hierarchy in the typography could be defined a bit more I think... But overall, simply a fantastic wallpaper, I must add it to my favorites! ^_^

Looks awesome Anji! Seems like it came right out of the anime. And a job well done with the vectoring... I know how difficult it can be trying to draw parts with just references.

Mais oui, on le sait que tu nous fait toujours des surprises de qualite!! Merci anji, et je trouve que le fondu du texte avec le wallpapers est nickel, pas de dechet, aucun pixel foireux pour gacher... et puis l'illumination de Kyo est pas mal. Je pense que de gerer ca avec la pluie dans le wall ce ne devait pas etre facile du tout. La couleur de ses cheveux ressort bien en opposition avec toute l'ambiance de l'image... on pourrait decrire ca comme si il restait un petit espoir cache en lui... oula! je m'emballe et je commence a disserter, pas bon!
