This is a oriental wall, There was a ton of color work and adjustments done to her image. Took around 1hr to make all the light adjustments and the bg was quite simple. the ripples in the water below her was kinda difficult... but i finally got them done. and the sky took me about 15 min. or so. So all round 2:30 hours to make. I hope everyone enjoys this... and don't automatically say it's bland.
There may not be alot going on in the bg.... but that's what makes this wallpaper have this weird aura.

Even though its wierd she's floating on water, this is a nice wallpaper. Love the background and that little island. The girl with a little of ecchi added to it makes it all better. ^^ Nice work.

Wow, this is a lovely wallpaper. The girl in the foreground is nice...catgirls were never my thing, but I love the red eyes. The background looks amazing. It's so soft...it has an almost "mystic" feel to it. The trees look great, but that flourish in the deep background..."spirits," I presume...is beautiful. Excellent wallpaper.

I must say in my opinion the back drop is what makes this wallpaper. Its so beautiful the way everything is distinct in its own way yet blends together in such a flowing way. The rocks, the dirt covered ground, and trees are all very distinguishable and yet they flow so nicely with one another. I honestly could go on and on about the background but I'll cut my rambling off here XD
