The background looks lovely^^ but the tree trunks kinda look like someone's sanded and polished them... ^_^' they're just a bit too... shiny... and the different grass needs to be integrated better.... just my opinion anyway. But the composition is great and the sakura leave look good^^ Good job!

This wallpaper features Tenma from School Rumble.
When I first saw the scan of the girl, I knew it was perfect and I had to make a wall for it. So here it is. I decided to go with a sceneric background with sakura trees and sakura leaves falling in the wind. I think it fits in very nicely with the scan.
The tree trunks were painted with a regular round brush, then shading and highlights painted over it and filters for the texture. The leaves were painted with sakura brushes. The grass were painted with grass brushes. The sky was painted also with a round brush. The dirt path (I hope it looks alright) were painted with a regular brush, then filters for texture. I had a little trouble with the fence. It's actually made up of rectangles with round edges, which not surprisingly, is much easier said than done. Again, brushes and filters for shading and texture.
In total, I spent around 1 week and 2 days, or 20 hours total, on this wallpaper. There were a total of over 102 layers when I was working on the wall, but I had to compress it down since it was taking so much space.
Anyway, you comments and opinions really appreciated! Hope you like it!
Edit: Sorry, I had to resubmit the image. For some reason, the transfer first time stop in the middle and only half of the image was shown. But it's fixed now.
Edit2: I reedited the wallpaper. THe tree trunks were too bright but they are fixed now. You may have to clear your
cache to see the updated image.

very kawaii!!!! i love the trees ^^ they're very very pretty sakura blossoms! Overall, the layout of it is nice, but i personally would like it better if the character wasn't that big ^^

She is very cute! I really love the three dimensional effect especially seen with the saurka petals blowing in ront of Tenma, awesome job, a favorite without hesitation.
