The artwork for gunslinger girl really is nice. The softness of the art really contrast the story and harshness of their "reality". I agree that text going over her might have ruined the wall but the left side feels a little empty. I suppose when you put in on your desktop that problem will be solved by you desktop icons. If that was you intentions then cool! It's fine. Me likes!

yeah, twas my intention as I always make desktop wallpaper to suit my screen (and I have a lot of icons) I have not yet mastered the art of superimposing images onto backgrounds (see my first and father raw attempt to do so in the Uta~Kata section) so maybe I will revisit this one when I have figured it out :)
